Podremos visitar las dos Reservas Naturales (Remolar-Filipines y Espais Naturals del Riu Llobregat), ambas albergas gran cantidad de aves acuáticas con un total de 11 especies de patos destacando ánade rabudo, ánade silbón y negrón común, pero también infinidad de limícolas como avefría común, chorlito dorado común, correlimos común, avoceta común, alcaraván común, etc… una de las grandes atracciones es la posibilidad de ver calamón común, presente en las dos reservas naturales. En cuanto a aves rapaces está asegurado observar aguilucho lagunero occidental y azor común, pero también cernícalo común, posiblemente halcón peregrino, busardo ratonero, águila calzada, entre otras. En cuanto a pájaros más pequeños hay muy buenas opciones de conseguir ver carricerín real, única especie de la família de los carriceros (Acrocephalus) invernante en la zona, pájaro moscón, escribano palustre, reyezuelo listado y sencillo, bisbita ribereño alpino, y muchos más.  

El delta del Llobregat está formado por una extensa llanura que ocupa 98 km² (casi el mismo tamaño que la ciudad de Barcelona), entre el macizo del Garraf y Montjuïc, y el congosto de Sant Andreu de la Barca al norte. Se forma en una época reciente: aparece en épocas romanas y va creciendo hasta el siglo xix. Ha tenido diferentes bocas de río que con el tiempo han ido creando lagunas litorales.

El delta del Llobregat es una llanura aluvial situada en la desembocadura del río del mismo nombre, en Cataluña. El río, al llegar al mar, de forma redondeada, es el segundo delta más extenso de Cataluña y está considerado de importancia internacional por la Unión Europea. En 2014 fue declarado ZEC (Zona de Especial Conservación)
